The main objective of this project is to create a game that is centered around biology or chemistry. Our group chose the theme of biology specifically a game that is centered in identifying mutating cancer cells. The main objective of the game is to differentiate normal red blood cells with blood cells that has been mutated into cancer cells. However, all the cells will have the same appearance, regardless of type. The player will have to identify the cells using stats that are given when the player hover over the cells. Depending on the type, the cells will either be a normal red blood cell or a mutated cancer cell.
The objective of this project is to educate aspiring biology students in middle school that are interested in the study of biology and specifically of cancer cells. This is an effort to make a game that is both entertaining but also informative so that people that are not interested in biology will still enjoy the game whist also providing information to people that are interested in the topic. The theme of cancer is chosen for the project to hopefully make more students be interested in the pursue of studying cancer cells as a cure is still not discovered.
My role in this project is Designing and working on the gameplay mechanics of the game, while Jason Chrsitopher Chandra’s role is to help add new features/gameplay mechanics,Designed the HUD Coding support and Brian Moses Weku is the Head Of Overall Design
